DescriptionIn 1975 Universal Studios art department created three concept art pieces of Raquel Welch as Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. She wanted to play Sheena but copyright delays forced Raquel to leave the project. She would have made a great Sheena.s art department created three concept art pieces of Raquel Welch as Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. This Sheena concept poster was painted by Joe Smith from Universal Studios art department. Joe Smith was a famed poster artist whose works include Ben-Hur and Gorgo. A biography of poster artist Joe Smith is planned for 2016 and will include this Sheena art.
