Description[Gift received from the honorable Nick Warmack]Comic legend Guy Davis did this, at the STAPLE! Comicon in Austin TX, on March 6th 2010 (which will have been a saturday). For me! As picked up by the aforementioned hero at home, known locally at the scene, to whom I had priorly made mention of favoring both Mike Mignola's Hellboy, as Guy Davis' own Marquis, greatly. Obviously. This piece having turned out so lush, bóth as rich. As if astutely 'on the double'. Like Halloween, or better: two Halloweens, at once. Canon-wise this Davis official 'big business-card-sketch' seals the deal: Excalibur or Arthurian lineage hinting is one thing (two actually), but Hellboy sporting headgear and 'collar accesories' as aptly as depicted herein: Big Red must REALLY be of noble blood!
