Ditko's style didn't always mesh with Kirby's characters (and vice versa) -- I was never crazy about his version of Thor, for instance, but for me, the Hulk and "Swingin'" Steve were a match made in comic book heaven. While the storylines may have been a factor also, I often enjoyed Ditko's version of the character more than Kirby's.

Fabulous TTA page! Ditko's style was perfect for drawing the Hulk! And this is a gorgeous example!
