Karate Kid by Gene Gonzales

After I bought the Beta Ray Bill gray paper sketch by Gene I started thinking about getting two more portrait style sketches in the same style to go with it. Bill, Colossus and Karate Kid are my three favorite comics characters so getting portrait sketches of all three seemed like a great idea to me. Gene actually did two portraits of Val Armorr on gray paper, because, to quote him, "I can't leave well enough alone." He e-mailed them both to me to choose which one I wanted, and though I dug them both, I went with this one. Thanks again to Gene for his always stellar work.
