Description

I believe that this is the piece that was recreated by the late and great Dave Cockrum for the Christie's Auction of 1995. It is not only a beautiful piece but also an extremely large one (13" by 19.75" on 15" by 22" art board). However, whilst the pencilss and inks were definitely by Dave, it is unclear who the colorist for this piece was. A CAF member has since sent an e-mail, suggesting the Dave's wife, Paty, might have been the colorist (Paty is indeed a talented artist and colorist in her own right and did a lot of work for Marvel).
