Spider-man - Black Costume (Convention Sketch)

This piece is an 11X17 convention sketch of Spider-man in his black costume. I used to attend quite a few comic conventions and I used to work on these sketches while at my table on Artist's Alley just to drum up some curiosity. It always seemed to bring people to your table when you looked like you were hard at work on something. That would always start up a conversation, and that usually led to some sketch requests. I always enjoy talking to comic fans at these shows... I am always amazed at the dedication and loyalty comic fans have to their favorite books, toys, movies, etc. I am a collector of various comics and toys mysel, so it is always nice to meet other people with the same interests. I love the convention crowd!
