Next to the comission this turned out to be the most expensive John Byrne piece i have, largely due to hidden costs - But it's well worth it!
His Namor run is one of the criminally unaknowleded gems to come out of the early 90s and overall among his finest work, this page is a terrific example of that as the level of detail and the expert layout is astonishingly deceptive, every time I look at it I notice something new and it is easily the best piece in my collection, certainly my favorite and from a favorite book...
This is also drawn using his 'Duo-Tone' artboard, there is nothing remarkable about the sheet though apart from it not being standard Marvel/DC stock and I forget how exactly the Duo-tone process was achieved....
