Description

The Purple Mask Play the hero of the play (though as a revolutionary looking to reinstate the monarchy you could see him as the villain- all depends on how you view the monarchy- the writer saw kings as positive)
An early costumed masked hero ala Zorro or the Scarlet Pimpernell done either as a design job for a silent film or a local version of the international play that was popular at the time. The play was written in the teens and this was done probably in the late teen early 1920's Probably unpubished but I don't know for sure
