Description

When the Wizard of Oz series hit I loved it. Great art, great stories, very enjoyable series. I was hooked.

I chased after a page and there were a ton left. I had my pick really. My goal was to get everyone - the Scarecrow, Dorothy, Tin Man, Lion, Toto, and the yellow brick road. Maybe even some flying monkeys.

The tough part was the lion. He didn't appear for issues. There were some gorgeous lion pages but they had nobody else. So it was either A+ lion page or A+ everyone else. I went groupshot.

I snagged this page as a dream. Most of the core characters and a serious amount of detail and backgrounds for a Skottie page. I think this is one of the better overall pages of art in the first Oz story arc.
