Description

I thought it was going to be tough to talk Peter into doing an Usagi sketch since he normally just does the Ninja Turtles. It took some cajoling to get my Shredder piece last October. I made a bet with myself the day before the con that if I turned on the TMNT cartoon and it happened to be one of the episodes with Usagi, I'd get the sketch. And sure enough, there he was, fighting alongside Splinter.

It probably didn't hurt that I brought along copies of Turtle Soup #1 (the first meeting of Leonardo & Usagi), Usagi Yojimbo #10, their second encounter in a story written and drawn by Laird, and The Art of Usagi Yojimbo, the beautiful collection that features a pin-up Peter did.

Obviously, I got the sketch and Peter seemed very happy to it.
