Description

Take it easy!!! This is only a scan of an 8 x 10 photo of the original painting.

No, I don't own the painting... duh !!!

The Gone With the Wind version of the ESB poster (Style A). Actually, this is the same art that became the final painting. Roger actually sanded off the paint to make the requested changes. Definitely old school... so this version only exists as a photograph.

The final painting is included as an additional image (see below). Luke and his Tauntaun are larger and moved up. Han's hand was removed. The Cloud City was moved (to be replaced by the X - Wings).

Roger told me one of the reasons (or the main reason) he got this job is because one of his prior jobs was painting a new GWTW book cover with the classic Rhett & Scarlet pose.

Star Wars was created by George Lucas.
