Description

"This was done as a bit of, well- not exactly 'fan' art, but as a personal concept piece for a deep space graphic novel idea. I tinkered with it for about six months, but it never went anywhere beyond several expository pages (which of course were never published). I was 18 or 19 at the time and quite taken with Bill Sienkeiwicz' s New Mutants covers (hence the bunny slippers & polka dots- they're thorough 'Bill-isms')."
