Description

One of my very favorite pages in the entire series, and a classic. What a TRIP this series was Can't believe I got my hands on this one. Russell inking his own pencils = just amazing. "Shoot him, Clarence!" The cover of this issue, by Gil Kane, is one of my favorites from all of the 1970's, and shows this scene, Gil Kane style. Clarence was not having a good day. Thanks for the kind words--this is one of my favorite pages from the series (which I thought was one of the highlights of 1970's Marvel--sort of a proto-Vertigo feel), and I kind of didn't believe it when I was able to get it, and for not that much $$.

Oh, wow! Russell really exploded with this series! Both the story and the art were incredible there and I remember discovering each new issue with amazement (yes!). This is a truly great page from a truly great strip! Must find one of these for my collection...
