DescriptionWith this piece, I wanted to give the viewer the chance to step behind the mask and see what Spider-man sees... Through his eyes! I made the piece to seem like it was being viewed from behind the lenses in Spidey's mask (must be a McFarlane with those huge eye holes!) as the Green Goblin swoops in for the kill! I also noticed that this piece could be viewed in an entirely different perspecive as well... As I was working on it, I found myself thinking that it could also be viewed as a reflection of the Goblin attacking in the lenses of Spidey's black costume! Through the lenses... Reflected in the lenses... Your Call! I hope you like it. Also... Check out the rough (AND I DO MEAN ROUGH!) 5.5 X 8.5 sketch that lead to the final piece! Be nice though... I do have feelings you know! lol ;)Social/Sharing |

When I look at this piece, I can feel the sense of immediate danger by the presence of the Green Goblin. Thanks Jamie, not only by the masterful realization of the drawing, but also by the magnificent original idea of allowing us to see for a moment like Spiderman. You can now consider myself a fan of your great work.
