And the light of God sprouted everywhere! (with my Little help of course, these additionals rays will son be eliminated). Splendid cover showing Moses in "The Ten Commandments" by Spanish master of masters Antonio Bernal. ¿Quien no recuerda a Charlton Heston dando calabazas a la bellísima Anne Baxter?. La figura de Antonio Bernal se agiganta con el paso del tiempo hasta el punto de afirmar sin ningún género de dudas que gran parte de la ilustración española de la segunda mitad del siglo XX está indisolublemente unida a sus magníficas creaciones.

En esta ocasión no muestro una de sus famosísimas portadas para Trueno, Jabato, Corsario de Hierro o Joyas Literarias (todo llegará) sino una preciosa portada que realizó en 1967 mostrando a Moisés en "Los 10 Mandamientos" y que se publicó para Historias Selección serie Historia y Biografía nº 21 de Bruguera. Gracias de todo corazón pero eso ya lo sabes.

Pero si es Charlton Heston¡¡¡ Aunque es una hipótesis, estoy convencido que para realizar esta ilustración el Sr. Bernal recurrió al famoso "pause" del video, porque ha clavado al actor. ¡¡Qué grande eres Antonio!!
