Description

It's no secret that Patrick is my favorite Spidey artist from the modern era. His manga inspired illustrations showcases the athleticism of Spiderman. Patrick is also one of the few artists that still draws detailed backgrounds. Let's hope Marvel pulls him out of the junior varsity Spider-man comics and promotes him to the flagship ASM title.

Although I already have a cover from Patrick in my collection, it was Spidey in his black costume. I was looking to add a cover of Spiderman in his traditional red and blue attire. While I did not get everything on my wish list for Christmas this year, the addition of this cover to my collection more than makes up for it.

Dollar for dollar, I think I would rather spend my money on a Scherberger Spidey cover than a McFarlane one! Especially when I see something like this! I don't even care what book he's working on, just as long as he keeps drawing the characrer, I could care less what the title on the front of the book says! Congrats buddy!
