This is probably one of the more "stranger" entries from my collection, it's a Bubblemen drawing from guitarist/frontman of Love & Rockets/Bauhaus/Tones on Tails, Daniel Ash. You may remember the opening scene from the horror classic "The Hunger" as an artsy band plays "Bela Lugosi's Dead" during the club scene. That wasn't just a fictious band, that was actually the premiere GOTH band, BAUHAUS. They later spun off into other projects after Peter Murphy went solo, but they will best be remembered for kick-starting the whole GOTH movement (and no, that crap kids today try to pass as "goth" is a bunch of rubbish). Anyway, Daniel was taking early orders on an EP to build some revenue to finance his next record and since I realized the cd was actually in his writing when I received it, I thought it was a golden opportunity to ask for a quick sketch of his "Bubblemen" creation. Daniel did the art for the last Bauhaus liner notes (not included on the cd version) as well as "Sun, Earth and Moon". I sent him another $10 with my request and a week later this showed up.
