Description
When i first saw this cover i was blown away by it. Has Spawn looked so good? I felt it was a pretty iconic image and one of the best covers.

The cover i think is the only one done by Whilce Portacio that was inked by Todd McFarlane, as the others were done digitally. Which for me makes its very special. Pretty cool huh?. Thanks to Ryan for a smooth deal.

For those familiar with the sheer rarity of McFarlane inks, and especially those who followed Whilce’s run on the book, this is easily the nicest offering one would find! And of course I’m also very happy to see this one finally land in an appreciative home! Great get!!!

Niiiiiiiice! Killer score Dean! This is AWESOME! Definitely Whilce's best Spawn cover, and the McFarlane inks only make it that much more incredible. Congrats my friend!

Lots of style! I like how the artists spotted their blacks and grouped the mesh of fine lines in the background

Wow, this is cool! Whilce has been one of my favorite artists since X-factor. he has one of the most unique styles out there and his work on Spawn was really inspired. As someone pointed out earlier since Todd discovered the cintiq 21st century original art by Mcfarlane is almost non existent. I always thought McFarlane's biggest asset as an artist was his signature (traditional)inking style. That's not always the case when he inks digitally but when todd picks up his hunts 102 there is no mistaking Mcfarlane inks. Wonder why they dropped that cool background from the published piece. Congrats

Todd's McFarlane's inks over Whilce's makes all the difference. Beautiful and iconic.
