Bil Ruth prelim characters from "Sexy Tales to Give You the Creeps!"

I was talking to one of Bil's old colleagues/roommates at the 2005 Heroes con, who confirmed Bil had gone out jogging a few weeks earlier and passed away with a heart attack. Such a tragic end for a man who had so much potential. My wife bought this for me for Christmas one year. It is a character prelim design from "Sexy Tales to Give You the Creeps." The first time I met Bil, he was working at a Taco Bell. As I examined his highly detailed pages, I thought how unfair it was for him to be wasting his time behind the counter, while he produced such etheral art. I imagined Bil at the cash register saying, "Would you like a Picasso with that combo?"
