So, I�m running out of pages and going through my own art files and cringing all the way.

The story behind this:
Way back when, when I was picking up the odd job here and there from Marvel, I was told inkers were needed. Specifically, the editor I had been working with knew that I drew and said to me I could get work as an inker if I worked up some samples. So to that end, he gave me a bunch of xeroxes of penciled pages (I actually think these are Miller DareDevil pages) and told me to give it a shot. So I went out and bought myself some vellum and then locked myself away and started working on this thing.

Plainly put, it was onerous. I was ill prepared to do a decent job inking. At the time, I couldn�t quite grasp that inkers used a brush to ink and consequently did all my work with a pen. Some of the textural stuff I think I used paper towels for.

I didn�t bring it up again and neither did the editor (and at the time I was thankful for that). This was years before Chasing Amy came out and the whole dialog between Jason Lee�s character and the fan but believe me when I say, it�s a helluva lot more than copying and hard work to boot.
