DescriptionI got to see John Byrne do some really nice elaborate sketches at the Chicago Comicons during the late 70's and 80's. As a youngster I didn't have the money to spend for one of those. However, I did get a couple of pieces over the years. I was lucky in that Terry Austin came to the Detroit area Con later that year and had him ink John's pencil of Storm from Chicago. A simple classic piece.I have very fond memories of the Chicago Con's Artist Room with the likes of Byrne, Grell, Chan, Chaykin, Miller, Rogers, Rubenstein, Brunner and many others that were there having loud conversations back and forth and seeing alot of great work being done. . You've got to be delighted to have this piece in your collection.. only Byrne and Austin can really do Storm justice.
