DescriptionCompare the art with the scan of the paperbacks up above!BOARD: 12 3/4 x 18 3/8 IMAGE: 12 x 16 1/2 (Approx.) Acrylic on 1/8" Illustration Board This is the original painting published as the cover to the vintage paperback novel Scowtown Woman by P.A. Hoover in 1960. The art director at Digit Books in the UK liked it enough that he chose to publish it again as the cover to a printing of Donald Henderson Clarke's Alabam' (Digit R371) in 1962. Social/Sharing |
