Description

One of the signs of a good artist is that they make it look easy, natural and unforced. The amount of characters portrayed and the level of detailed work by artist John Watson is staggering and very evocative of George Perez who originally drew JLA 195. He lays out a showdown between the Legion of Super Villians and the Legion of Superheroes.We decided to set it around the time of the epic LSV battle with the Legion that led to the death of Karate Kid and the transformation of Ayla Ranzz aka Light Lass back to her Lightning Lass persona. It is amazing just how much detail John poured into a one page commission. John is a great guy to work with and as seen by the many re-Legion's he has taken on, has an amazing variety of styles and approaches to commissions.
