It's very possible that there are better known, or more "important" Brian Bolland pieces, but from the moment I first laid eyes on this piece, it has since been MY FAVORITE Bolland....and I'm not even a big Sgt. Rock fan! This fills a huge void in my collection. Thanks go out to Chris for making this happen!

You know, whenever a piece like this changes hands, I am just flabbergasted. It just seems like it would be one of those pieces that sits in a collection for years and years! Are you getting this Scott? If you ever let this one go, I'm going to drive down there and slap you silly!

To me the best splash by Brian, beeing an inker yourself I can easily imagine the joy you have when you stare at an art like this one! One of the best you have!

It's easy to see why this is your favorite and had to own it piece by Bolland. The attention to detail on his helmet with it's dents and the lines on his face are just AMAZING!! Congrats on this.

One of my absolute favorites! Check out my comment on the YouTube page for your "show and tell" video you did for Felix Comic Art with my story behind this piece. Needless to say, if you should ever decide to part with it... well, I guess you probably won't. And I don't blame you! Wonderful piece of art.

What a great looking Kub....Bolland Sgt Rock piece.   The eyes and structure are classic Sgt Rock.  Boland kills it with the detailed line work.   Some great cross hatching.   I agree one of his best pieces.
