This is from that great 1978 era where they threw the weirdest inkers they could think of -- Layton, Austin, Chan, Byrne, Leialoha -- at Kirby to see what happened. In this case something great happened. The two best Thor guys on a dinosaur title. Comics! Yay!

I imagine it was more of a case of all those inkers chomping at the bit to get a chance to ink Jack Kirby!
