DescriptionThis is a commission piece for my friend Walt Feeney (I can't help but think of that old "Boy Meets World" show and Mr. Feeney (!) every time I think of Walt) As anyone who has ever seen Walt's gallery knows, he is a bit of a Thor fan... This time he wanted Thor and Juggernaut raisin' a ruckus, so I decided to have Thor pounding on the one thing that makes Juggernaut the unstoppable force that he is... his helmet. Nothing stops the Juggernaut!?!... Looks like the mighty hammer of Thor is doing a pretty good job! I hope you like it Walt... and I hope everyone else likes it as well.[[[ On a side note... as I was finishing this piece, I received a call from my mom telling me that my oldest brother (who had a kidney transplant about 13 years ago and then lost that new, transplanted kidney last summer) was taken to the hospital with excess fluid in his body (which sometimes happens from the Dialysis treatments he takes three times a week) and double Pneumonia. With all of his health problems, I am really worried that this will take a huge toll on him. So, I guess I am just asking for your thoughts and prayers for him as he goes to battle with this new enemy that is attacking him. He is, and always has been a HUGE Thor fan, so I just wanted to mention this along with this piece. Thank you all so much and God bless. - Jamie ]]] Social/Sharing |

Thanks so much guys for your support and kind words. I spoke with my brother on the phone today and he sounded a lot better than yesterday. He was having so much trouble breathing yesterday that you couldn't even hear him. I just hate the fact that his hospital is over an hour away and I can't be there as much as I would like. He is the guy that got me started drawing YEARS ago, when I was about 4. He used to draw Spiderman for me all the time. I used to bug him every day... I guess he just got a little tired of my constant begging and turned me down one day. I guess that was what it took to get me started. My feelings were hurt, but I drew my first Spiderman that day on the inside of a coloring book cover and haven't looked back since. I will send along all of your kind words and thoughts. Wow, I love it! Thanks for another phenomenal piece. More importantly though, I wish your brother has a speedy recovery.

Thanks Walt... I always worry until I get some feedback from the buyer. As soon as I get a couple coats of sealant (dried) on this thing, it'll be on its way. Thanks again.
