DescriptionBernie Wrightson, The Master of Horror at his finest! This is the cover to Cycle of the Werewolf. How would you like to be at the door when this wicked beast is smashing through. Perhaps one of his finest color pieces. This masterpiece has been hanging on my wall for twenty years, and will stay for another twenty. All the Werewolf is missing is a Frankenstein plate next to it on the wall. Hmm... stay tuned....Social/Sharing |

When I was a kid I used to stop into the bookstore every time we'd go to the mall, just to flip through the pages of this book and look at Bernie's paintings. This is certainly one of the very best from the book. Congrats.

Wrightson is the perfect artist to bring Big Steve King's work to life.

quite simply a masterpiece !!! Wrightson may be known for Swamp Monsters, but he always drew a brilliant Werewolf. Fantastic !!!

Two things I've always been a huge fan of; the legendary werewolf "and" Mr. Bernie Wrightson. How beautifully Stephen King's vision has been brought to life here. Incredible piece of art. Truly, the stuff of nightmares.

I used to flip through this book over and over to view the intense artwork. Without a doubt the best page. Bravo***

Many times I have admired this terrifying wonder, once enchanted by the composition, once again amazed by the beautiful colors, another yet caught by the dramatic dynamism of the scene ... but NOW I wonder, Maria: where the hell did you hung it?

This is an amazing and beautiful piece of art. I know people, art collectors and Stephen King collectors alike, who envy your collection now.

I had a chance to buy the original of the cop getting his face ripped off back in 1986-87 at the SDCC but I foolishly let a friend of mine talk me out of it...I think the pieces were around $700 or so back then. :(

Maria, a superb cover by Bernie Wrightson! I own one of these great Cycle of te Werewolf originals also, and the scans truly do'nt do the art any justice! It must be breathtaking in person!
