Description

Its incredible, when you think of all the wealth of talent that 2000ad has showcased over the years, and for me, Mick McMahon sits at the very top.

A superb and unique artist and nobody but nobody does post apocalyptic better than Mick.
The cursed earth saga (progs 61 - 85) was not without controversy, and the result of that is four episodes (Episodes 11 and 12 by Mick and episodes 17 and 18 by Brian Bolland) can never be reprinted, which is a real shame.
I can still vividly remember my disappointment, years after throwing away my 2000ad comics, to finding this out when i bought the collected editions.

UPDATE: This 'banned' episode is soon to be reprinted for the first time ever, as Rebellion gears up to release, in 2016, the full tale. Changes in copyright laws have finally made this possible.

Fantastic page.I did not think Rufus had any pages from this.Makes you wonder what else he has.One of the best Dredd stories which is why its a pity it cannot be reprinted.

Did Dredd ever organise that party to go back? Maybe he did but it can never be printed. A great page.
