Description

I just bought the black-and-white original of this astonishing piece Doc Shaner posted on ComicTwart.com. I need to get to a scanner, but here is the computer-colored version from online, which deserves to be up here so that the wonderfully retro style can be appreciated by all. This is to my mind the best piece of Captain Marvel art in decades, and one of the few to really capture the energy and style of C.C. Beck's original. DC not paying this guy to do a Captain Marvel story = money left on the table.
