I had envisioned this piece a few years ago, and when I sent the reference shots to Michael and explained what I was looking for, he was hooked! Basically Michael in John Buscema's powerful style, took the classic Ms Marvel cover moved some things around and came up with this beauty! I was stunned when I received it and the title was all hand drawn, no paste ups! (the Corner box art is a pasteup) Rendered in all brush, the detail is something to behold!

It always makes me cringe to see this cover because I actually had a chance to buy the ORIGNAL Subby #5 cover many, many, years ago (yes, the one shown in your Additional Images). It remains to this day one of my biggest collecting regrets. Congrats on a very cool reimagining. Michael does such a great job on these!
