beautiful page. I've been hunting this one for quite a while to hopefully reunite with the rest of the pages from the issue.
Thats great that you got your beautiful daughter to go along with you.
Now that is a cool piece of history and a great story to go along with them. Unlike unpublished pieces from the 60's or 70's, everyone will know about why these weren't used.
Loved both these artists on this run, it was some super clean lines, great storytelling and a fun ride for a few years. Congrats on grabbing all these great pages!
These are some spectacular pages from SS you've been posting. This one is superb!
Did you break into the Tom CHristopher vault?
A great piece of art with a very throwback feel to it. MC did a nice job with this, and the Liberty Legion just doesn't get enough love!
This is so cool! Not your typical Grell at all. You can barely see Grell's style in this, and it loos stunning with those colors!

Unsure how I missed this commission over the past couple years. But even more stunning than the art to me, is the fact that in all my many years of collecting, i never ...ever put the connections together between the Turtles and DD. This is incredible and makes total sense after i read the description. Kudos on a fantastic idea and execution!

This is a spectacular page and I can say nothing more that hasn't already been said! just...WOW!
What can i say that hasn't already been said? I was 8 when I first read tbis, andmust have poured over the stories and images a thousand times. JUST last weekend, my 10 yr old daughter pulled it out of my bookshelf and asked if she could read it, and then sat down for an hour and absorbed it. Must be that iconic cover that sucks every 8-10 yr old in!
Guice may have been a new artists at this time, but he sure had great stroytelling chops! Bulanadi's inks in these issues were so slick and crips. WoW!!! what a page
