DescriptionThis is a commission piece done as one of my first Ebay commission auctions. This is actually number two as the Spider-man and Sinister Six piece was the first. Jake wanted Wolverine entering into Venom's lair with Spider-man and Punisher having already arrived... and been beaten and webbed to the walls of this sewer type environment. I'm doing it again as this is the first time Jake will be seeing his commission. I hope it doesn't bite me on the ass debuting pieces like this. I had no other option on this one though. I tried to email Jake pics last night from midnight up until 4 am this morning but Yahoo would not let me attach the pics. I tried resizing and changing the format... but to no avail. Luckily I was able to get the pics posted on here today. I hope you like it Jake!I have another side note to add to this piece. Last time I was asking all you guys to say a word of prayer for my brother who was having some medical problems (thanks to everyone by the way), but this time I am asking for myself. I went to my family doctor last week (Wednesday) and he gave me a routine eye exam which I passed with flying colors. 20/ 20 vision in both eyes with my glasses. Well, Monday I was finishing up work for the day on a commission and went into the living room to watch some tv before going to bed. AsI was watching, I noticed a blurry spot in the middle of my field of vision. I figured it was strain from working all day, so I dismissed it and went to bed. The next morning, it was still there, and even worse. I went to my eye doctor and she checked everything out. It tyurns out I have a small tear in the membrane beneath my retina in the back of my eye. I won't go on too much and bore you all with the details, but if something isn't done to remedy this problem, it could lead to leakage of fluid in my eye and a "detached retina". I am off to another eye doctor tomorrow , a retina specialist, to see what needs to be done. They said that there may be some injections that will be done, followed by surgery if the eye drops and injections don't work. I am on a steroid drop now to aid in the healing process as well as an anti inflammatory drop to help with the swelling caused by this tear. If any of you have known me for any length of time, you will know that this is not my first rodeo with eye problems. Around two years ago, I suffered a severely scratched cornea in my left eye while playing with my stepdaughters in the back yard. This time it's the right eye, so I ask that you guys say a little prayer fior me that this problem will be resolved with as little damage to my eye as possible. For an artist, the thought of having something happen to your vision is sickening. I apprecaite any thoughts and prayers you guys can send my way. God bless. Social/Sharing |

Hope you have a speedy recovery and that it turns out to be easily treatable. Eye surgery is no small thing. Best of luck!
