DescriptionI really admire this guy in so many ways. Let’s start off with him being so influential in the Cuban Revolution. I love the fact that a lot of people doubted him during the Cuban Revolution but he proved them wrong by forming his own guerrillas’ army (M-26-7) to take out the government from Cuba, which he successfully did. Another reason is the whole “Bay of Pigs Invasion” that just proves to me that an underdog can beat a top dog. A lot of people have tried to kill him but they all failed that proves to me that you can be untouchable. There are so many reasons why I decided to paint him. On this project I am aiming for political painting slash realistic. I have used this painting technique before and I wanted to be my signature painting technique. The story behind this painting is based on Cuban having relationship with USSR that lead to Cuban Missile Crisis.Social/Sharing |
