My wife had been trying to figure out what to get me for our 10th anniversary when she heard me raving over the artwork in this new Rocketeer series. So she did what any awesome wife would do, she looked into it.

But unlike 99% of the other wives out there, she actually bought some of it. And she didn't just buy one piece, she bought a complete 8 page story.

My wife is awesome.

And these pages, by the talented Mike Allred, are a real joy to drink in. Each page is a mix of pencil, ink, wash and they are fully lettered to boot. So once I get them all up on the wall (I only have room for a choice page or two at the moment) you'll actually be able to read the whole story.

Yes, Mike your wife is awesome! Mine would cut my knackers off if she knew even 5% of the art I have bought over the years !!!! Seriously, those Rocketeer pages are darn nice.

Not only is this a great page of art but that is just about the best gift a guy could get. Bravo! My wife gifted me with my Cap #15 cover on our 1st anniversary - which is paper. Well done.
