By far, my favorite Cloak & Dagger cover of the last decade or so (not that there have been too many, but still...). Congrats on this wonderful piece !

Definitely beyond comic art, as many Lee's works, this is a wonderful fine art illustration!

I've always loved Jae Lee's design sensibilities and his clean draftsmanship. Seeing his interpretation of Cloak & Dagger has my mouth watering for more. These two characters are perfect for Jae to bring to life in covers. Oh, he could do it in the interiors as well for sure but COVERS! Bring back THE CLOAAK and THE DAGGER just so he can do the covers. This is beautiful. COngrats.

Gail Simone writing? Blevins doing interiors? Lee on covers? YES! Thank you for the nice comment. Lee really could take these characters and make them his own.

While I'm not very fond of pencil-only artwork, this piece it's mind blowing. Congrats!

It's the only piece I have in pencils. I really don't like pencils only either but for this one I will make an exception.

That's a fine looking cover and the original pencils look much better than the colored-published art.

Jaw-droppingly cool Cloak and Dagger cover by the incredible Jae Lee. I love the contrast between the dark, thick lines used to render Cloak, and the thin, light lines used for Dagger. That they are both posed on top of a grotesque statue of a dragon rearing up seems significant as well. But that's the kind of challenging elements you often find in Jae Lee's work. He is a true artist in every sense of the word.
