Conan and Belit - Grindberg

I had emailed Tom about some of his Conan and other pieces I had saw, and mentioned that with his take on Conan and the way he draws beautiful women, he should check out "Queen of the Black Coast." A few weeks later he emailed me excitedly, asking me to check out the Conan/Belit piece he created and, upon seeing it, I couldn't resist buying it. Absolutely stunning.

I've always felt that Belit was the perfect woman for Conan... she was beautiful, smart, fierce, in-charge, and strong (basically the female version of Conan). And that's what made their story so tragic. Conan's rescued and been with a lot of women, but there was never one like the perfect match Belit was.
