Description

This is one of my favorite covers from The New Mutants—I drew it twice-up because there are so many characters and I wanted to delineate their facial expressions carefully. The twisting figures writhing in the living muck was a lot of fun to compose and draw—I also remember that I had just discovered Gillot 303 pen nibs. They gave the ink lines a snap and liveliness that I loved, and reproduced better than the finer Hunt 102 or 108 (which I also loved).

That's a great cover, thanks for sharing. I always loved the way you draw Warlock, for me, it's the definitive version.
