Description

I enjoyed twisting the perspective and composing all the complexities of this scene-- the body lanquage/acting of the characters�the details of the 40's setting, and I created the textural distortion of the shadow creature with my then new Apple 8100 and Photoshop 3! I printed the finished monster out on Avery label paper, carefully cut it out with an Exacto knife, and pasted it onto the bristol board. Ancient technology!

I really enjoyed that mini. Each artist captured their period perfectly. Your issue was probably my favorite of the bunch. If one can dream - I'd love to see you illustrate the SHADE once more within his new DCNU ongoing series.
