Buffy the Vampire Slayer VS Vampirella by Jill Thompson

This is a commission I had requested back in 2010's San Diego Comic Con, which took a while to get completed, pretty much exactly a full year, to 2011's San Diego Comic Con. Interestingly at the end of this year's SDCC when I went to see if she'd finished it at the show, Jill Thompson made a noble guaranteed offer after apologizing for not having the piece done for over a year, and at the end of the convention said, if she didn't have the piece done by the end of that week, Friday, that she would send me double ($400) what I paid (I paid $200 in advance in 2010) for the commission. The pressure was self-imposed and very honorable for her to offer, and she, true to life, hit it, and was able to send me the completed piece, which I received this past week in the mail. It measures 7.5" x 10".
