Conan the Cimmerian #0 pgs 10-11 - Giorello

Pages 10-11 from issue 0 of Dark Horse's "Conan the Cimmerian" (Vol 1, 2008) with pencils by Tomas Giorello on 11.75" x 17.5" Dark Horse Comics Art Board. This also appears as a frontpiece in several of the TPBs, to visually catch readers up to what's happened before.

Excellent, summarizing, double-page spread, covering highlights from the first DH Conan series, with the usual Giorello attention to detail (I mean, look how cool the shading and lighting is on the sewer grate at the bottom of the page... who else would take that much care in creating that?!). Obviously, my photo does nothing to capture this, mainly because only Tom's original art can capture the true beauty of this piece: It's even better than what's published in the comic. Great piece from a great artist and person.
