Description

This beautifully rendered closeup of Penny is done by Ollie Johnston who was one of Walt Disney's Nine Old Men for the movie "The Rescuers". When I saw the piece I immediately loved it. It was just so cute. I love that you can see her missing teeth.

This drawing would have been drawn for the scene where Penny is talking to Medusa while she is removing her makeup and eyebrows. I couldn't exactly place the piece so I am not sure if it was used or not but it is a fantastic drawing of the character none the less.

Size 6x9 on 12.5 x 15.5 animation sheet.
