Description
Although the market is full of wonderful pages from his longer stints on Conan, Fantastic Four and Thor, Buscema really didn't produce very much monster art. In fact, by my calculations, I believe he only did six issues of frankenstein's monster. Thanks to Brian Peck for his great source of information in the John Buscema The Michaelangelo of Comics hardback.

This was from Monsters Unleashed #5 with Buscema on pencils and Win Mortimer on inks. Buscema's blue pencils can be seen throughout the page making it even more special to me. Mortimer stayed true to Buscema’s gorgeous pencils and the results are wonderful!

Although a couple of word balloons are missing, the fact that it unveil even more of the glorious original art underneath is a plus in my book.

There will never be another quite like John Buscema and I am so terribly happy to finally own one of his monster creations. Classic!
