SPECTRE APOCALYPSE by ERNIE CHAN

Here is a cool commission piece that Ernie Chan did for me at the 1995 Wonder Con. in Oakland, CA. This has a very ominous apocalyptic feel with the Astral Avenger looming over the earth, ready to pour out his fiery indignation upon all evil doers.

Ernie was the guest artist for a couple of the issues for the classic Spectre run in Adventure Comics during the early to mid 1970's. He did the pencils (as Ernie Chua) for Adventure #437-#438 and Jim Aparo did the finished inks.

The Spectre has always been a favorite of mine since I was a boy. Pen/ ink and watercolor on illustration paper. Measures approx. 11" x 14"
