The Spectre by Ernie Chan

This extremely cool and spooky Spectre piece was done for me by Ernie Can at the 1994 Wonder Con., when it was still in Oakland, CA.

Ernie was the guest artist (as Ernie Chua) for a couple of the issues for the classic Spectre run in Adventure Comics during the early to mid 1970's. He did the pencils for Adventure #437-#438 and Jim Aparo did the inks.

The Spectre has always been a favorite of mine since I was a boy. Pen/ ink and watercolor on illustration paper. Measures approx. 11" x 14."
