I'm always tickled pink when I see this piece since Morpheus looks so cute as a mouse and Death as a bad-ass rodent. Is she really smoking a joint?! This was drawn at the New York Comic Con in 2009 for fellow CAF member Troy Dixon. That year, I tried several times to get into David Petersen's list but just couldn't manage it even after sprinting to his table every day. Therefore, it didn't take me long to say "yes" when Troy offered this to me. I now don't have to fight the crowds and this fits in perfectly with the rest of my Sandman collection. I was with Troy when he ordered this. Dave completed this one at home where he could take his time. Nice to see it go to a good home!
