ok I squee-d when I got this!

I love Andy Runton's Owly books. Not only are they well drawn, but the visual code-text is an awesome way to have left and right brain learning simultaneously. They are emotionally deep, while remaining simple and accessible. They are the perfect book for kids learning to read, and they are the perfect book for adults who need to tap into purer times and joyful emotions.

This being said, I commissioned an Owly as my character and boy am I happy with it! Just beautiful...and check out Wormy's little Skeletor face!!!!!!

Seriously, Andy is a joy to be around....and his work just forces you to smile. I can't wait to get this framed and hang it in a spot where I will see it every morning (a time when I need something to make me smile).
