Description

A dramatic page from The Devil-Tree of Gamburu from The Savage Sword of Conan #42, 1979! Big John Buscema-pencils! Roy Thomas scripted and Tony DeZuniga inked-adapted from CONAN THE BUCCANEER by DeCamp and Carter. This storyline from the late 70's shows Marvels brief attempt to take on the more mature themes of Warren and Heavy Metal. Only a handful of Marvel Mags ever went so far as to show topless women outright, much less such a graphic scene as this.
