Description(1998, Brush/pen and ink on bristol - 10"x15" Live area)Alien... Mark Schultz... Space Jockey... Tough babe with gun... Alien!... Awesome!!! Been pining over these covers by Mark forever, so I'm super chuffed to acquire this marvellous composition, my fav of the run. Can't get enough of the whole Aliens mythos, and the expanded universe. The brush strokes are incredibly delicate, and has the perfect balance of high contrast and soft background. The space jockey is incredible. I love this piece! Beautiful piece, my friend!! I am familiar with Schultz's Conan art, but I had no idea he tackled the Aliens universe. Congratulations!!

hmm, that is really nice! I too was unaware Schultz had done some Aliens work... love the brushwork. Beautiful example Peter! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

...Cream of the crop, as in Prime Schultz, indeed, the line in this piece is as scary as the Alien itself, Mark hits each and every note in this incredible piece...

stunning...I was lucky enough to have breakfast with Mark at SDCC (thanks to the good Doctor) and what a treat that was -- his artistry is amazing and this is a wonderful piece
