IMHO Frank Frazetta is best known for 3 things: muscular men, ferocious felines, and wonderful women. I've always wanted one of the latter and when this came up on feebay, I had to have it! Afterall, it didn't have just one fantastic female, but 5! He was truly a modern master. Media: Pencils with a skin tone watercolor wash. The largest image on the far right is the prelim for "Torture Garden".

In my opinion Frank Frazetta has few peers when it comes to drawing the female form The torture garden seems to have influenced quite a few artists. It looks as though it could almost be an X-men image in many ways. The dark Phoenix before the Dark Phoenix. Who knows. Great studies.
