Description

Considered to be the father of the American cartoon, Nast created the modern versions of Santa Claus and Uncle Sam as well as the political symbols of the Republican elephant and Democratic donkey.

I really dig Nast's work and appreciate anytime it appears. To get a Santa Claus would be the ultimate dream!!

That's one of the nicest Nast self-caricatures that I've seen. It's also from a strong period in his work. Very, very nice!
